A member of the McCauley family, she was affectionately known locally as Annie Hiudaí Ned. Her husband, Mickey Hughie Phaidí McGarvey died thirty years ago at the age of 66 years.
Annie possessed many fine qualities, a good Christian, a good mother and grand mother. Her main past time was going to the local bingo sessions and she loved going on shopping trips with her daughter Anne and family. She was a very friendly individual who always had a smile on her face. She will be sorely missed by her loving family.

The celebrant of the mass was Fr. Donnchadh Ó Baoill, C.C., Cnoc Fola who also officiated at the graveside. The lessons were read by: Charles O’Donnell and Michael Jude McGarvey, [grandsons]. The prayers of the faithful were read by: Enya O’Donnell, Sally O’Donnell, Mary Anne Gleeson, Ashton Dixon, and Hughie McCauley. The soloists were: Majella and Lisa Nic Pháidín. The late Mary O’Hagan, Brinlack and Glasgow

The sad death of Mrs Mary O’Hagan has occurred in Glasgow in her 89th year. She was an annual visitor to her beloved Bun a’Leaca, having been there as recent as a few weeks before her death.  Such was her determination to visit and keep up the link that, despite deteriorating health in recent years, she insisted on returning home to her wee Cottage and visiting neighbours and friends every July / August.
Upon marriage to Buncrana -man, Willie O’Hagan, in the 1950s, like a lot of young couples they made Glasgow their new home where they raised their sons, George and Patrick.
Sadly, both her husband and her oldest son George pre-deceased her. Her son Patrick, his wife Patricia and their son and daughter, Conor and Sarah, as well as her nephews, nieces and all her friends and dear neighbours, survive her.
Her Interment is Monday 2nd September, in  Glasgow.

The Tommy Burns Celtic Supporter Club Dún na nGall, is a brand new Celtic Supporters Club and they will hold their next meeting in the Sea View Hotel, Bunbeg on Monday 2nd September at 8.00p.m. New members are welcome to come along and register on the night.
